Vintage 1940s Mexican Tourist Jacket
Made in Mexico by Garcia Leal Hnos.
A beautiful original vintage Mexican souvenir jacket.
Fashioned in woven wool, a gorgeous emerald hue.
It features fabulous hand- embroidered and appliquéd designs throughout including men in sombreros, woman wearing serape scarf, houses, sunrise, plants etc…
It has collar, also featuring embroidery, puff to sleeves, sweet little curved patch pockets at hips.
This jacket is being sold as seen. Like many Mexican tourist jackets from this era, it has lots of little holes and tiny repairs throughout. There are lots of missing/ loose stitches, mainly to the criss- cross edges.
Priced lower accordingly.
